Aubry Blackburn started her career in IP law as she worked to put herself through school at the University of Utah. With more than 15 years of
IP experience in Utility, Design, and Provisional application prosecution; International and PCT applications; and Trademark application filings, she has been at Teak IP Services since its US office opened. Now, in addition to her IP tasks, she also handles the day-to-day managing of Teak.

Tamara Dodd is a skilled Intellectual Property paralegal with more than 25 years of experience supporting attorneys in all aspects

of patent prosecution and trademark registration. She has experience managing domestic and international patents and trademark portfolios, including portfolios covering applications in more than 100 countries. Tamara had the unique experience in preparing and filing trademark applications for all the mascots and trademarks associated with the 2002 Winter Olympics. She is well versed in both prosecution and post-registration filings in the U.S. and in supervising the same in foreign filing projects. In addition, Tamara provides comprehensive support to attorneys in all stages of patent prosecution in the U.S. and has in depth experience with PCT filings and specializes in foreign patent prosecution.

With over 30 years of experience in Intellectual Property (IP) law, Betty Vowles is a dedicated and highly skilled senior IP paralegal.

Her expertise spans across trademarks, patents, and copyrights, providing unparalleled support to attorneys and clients alike.

Betty’s journey in the legal field continued as she took additional Biology classes to further her understanding of the BioTech impact on the IP community and the world, culminating with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Utah. Her keen interest in IP law and Biology have led her continued education in this field, where she has since honed her skills in managing complex IP portfolios.

Throughout her career, Betty has been instrumental in securing and protecting the intellectual property rights of numerous clients, ranging from individual inventors to large multinational corporations. Her meticulous attention to detail, combined with her deep understanding of IP laws and regulations, ensures that clients receive the highest level of service and protection for their intellectual assets.
